This is the quilt that Mom was working on. Jackie and I will finish it. It's called a Tumbler quilt
Kathy was our Mom. She was a crafter, a quilter (hand pieced and hand quilted), a Red Hatter, outgoing Leo and and wonderful Mom from a long line of Southern quilters. She passed 12/2012. My sister and I are determined to become better quilters and bring a variety of crafts to the public. We hope you enjoy our work and the legacy we bring to the table.

Some samples of artwork
Some acrylic paint and black ink works I've done on drums
This one took 3rd place in a national art contest for veterans through the VA.
Shawl Vests
Jackie made myself and Mom crocheted long vests for Christmas. Mom's is a "coat of many colors" - mine is red and black (despite the pictures looking orange and black - it is red)
Homemade Laptop Case
Jackie took material we found in Mom's tubs of material and made a case for her netbook. It has a main compartment and, under the flap, slots for her jump drives and pockets for her mouse and other items.
we're going to experiment with different materials and designs

Welcome
Kathy was our Mom. She was a crafter, a quilter (hand pieced and hand quilted), a Red Hatter, outgoing Leo and and wonderful Mom from a long line of Southern quilters.
Our Mom passed away 1 December 2012, leaving behind several quilt tops and projects she was piecing and several left from when Grandma passed in 1987.
My sister and I are determined to become better quilters and bring a variety of crafts to the public.
We hope you enjoy our work and the legacy we bring to the table.
